Usage meter

How credits are counted

1,000 credits per transcription minute

Audio and video transcription are estimated from media duration, then settled by the provider usage returned after processing.

Shared balance for AI text actions

Cleanup and rewrite spend credits from the same plan quota. Shorter selections usually consume less than full-document rewrites.

~1-10 text tokens per credit

This is a rough range for AI text actions. Actual usage depends on input/output ratio, model routing, and response length.

Where does checkout happen?

Subscription checkout and billing management open from the signed-in desktop app through Creem.

What happens when credits run out?

Cloud transcription and AI text actions pause until the monthly quota resets or additional Pro credits are available.

Does unused monthly quota roll over?

Monthly Pro quota resets each cycle. Purchased credits are stored separately and remain available while the account is on Pro.

How are purchased credits used?

Voxdown spends monthly Pro quota first. Purchased credits are used only after the monthly balance is exhausted.
